To keep them <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tenwestvet.com\/blog\/sign-of-an-ailing-avian-is-my-bird-sick\/\">interested in your feeder<\/a>, aim for a delicious array of any of the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Seeds&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nuts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Brown rice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Barley<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oats<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Banana<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mango<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Citrus like orange or kiwi<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Melon<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Papaya<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Snow peas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Parsley<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cucumber<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Romaine lettuce<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shredded carrot<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pellets in different sizes, shapes, colors, and size<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pet Bird Feeders and Dishes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>There are so many different feeding set-ups out there, and most should fit very well with your bird\u2019s cage and their feeding preferences. Be sure to have plenty of fresh water inside the cage and replenish if the water ever gets food in it.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pet Bird\u2019s Caloric Needs<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Owners should try to keep dishes and feeders as clean as possible. Remove any food that hasn\u2019t been touched and replace with other choices to meet your pet bird\u2019s caloric needs. Don\u2019t allow food to stay untouched inside their cage for more than 4 hours. Try to serve less food in the future to save your product and keep interest strong.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bird Feeding<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Maintaining a hygienic and interesting habitat for your pet bird is probably always going to be a work in progress. You want to continually provide opportunities for enrichment, and beyond toys and socialization, food provides a key element to their mental and physical health.
