In addition, we view the pet owner as our partner in care, tailoring your animal companion’s wellness care plan to your needs and wishes, as well as the pet’s age, type, general health, and lifestyle.

For your convenience, we have provided you with our online new client Form. This Welcome to Our Practice form is required information for all clients. Simply complete this form and submit online from the convenience of your home or office. Other forms for boarding and surgical consent may be viewed on our Forms web page. Our Appointment Policy

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Since veterinary emergencies always receive top priority, the occasional appointment delay is inevitable. However, we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.

Appointment Safety

We ask that all animals be placed on a leash or in pet carriers before entering the waiting room. Even though we attempt to make your pet feel comfortable during visits, some animals are uneasy about new people, new surroundings, and other animals. Restraining your pet in this way allows a margin of safety for both pets and people.

In addition, we require that all pet vaccinations be current. Maintaining positive preventive measures helps protect all of our animal and human friends.

Convenient Drop-Off Service

For your busy lifestyle, we offer drop-off service. This allows you to bring your pet in at your convenience, leaving him or her with us until seen by Dr. Powers. Usually, we will offer drop-off service sometime in the morning — perhaps before you go to work or take your children to school. Our doctor will either examine the patient in between appointments or at a time specifically reserved for admitted patients. Once the doctor is done, she will give you a call to review your pet’s diagnosis, suggested treatment, and to give you discharge instructions.
